Weekly Wednesday - Our day at a safari park

We love animals in this family so decided now that Lando is a little bit older a trip to the zoo/ safari park would be super fun. AS we drove around Lando sat in the front with us as we were shuffling along we didn't think of this as a big deal.

We went round the driving safari first which we all enjoyed, had a picnic lunch and then set lando free in a soft play area to run off some steam. He loves slides, climbing and ball pits so this was the perfect place to get some family play time in.

Once we were all knackered we decided to go and watch and elephant demonstration where we met a female elephant named Eugene. She was a complete cutie and we even got to stroke her.

Soon after this we entered back into the driving safari and went to the monkey enclosure Scott was feeling particularly cheeky this day and snuck in some raisins. He placed them on our sun roof and we sat and waited to see if any monkey friends wanted a treat. (I know this is bad but apparently everyone does it)

To my shock a big old monkey didn't hesitate to jump on our car and munched every single one of them....then all of a sudden another followed suit although all the dried fruit was gone. They sat on our car for ages and Lando was giggling away.

I think it is safe to say we all loved our day out and will be going back very soon.
